Created in 2021 by Tiana Esparon, Sitrin focuses on high quality, one of a kind pieces that make the wearer feel like the main character, or the more fashionable sidekick! All accessories are handmade at our studio in South East London, guaranteeing that each piece is uniquely made with love and care. The name Sitrin is the Creole word for the gemstone citrine, a crystal representing abundance, joy and creativity. Tiana's parents come from St Lucia, Jamaica and Seychelles, where different versions of Creole are spoken. Abundance, joy and creativity are three words that we try to capture in everything we do at Sitrin, through our unexpected colour combinations, over the top silhouettes and tactile textures. Sitrin accessories are made from natural fibres including merino yarn, raffia (made from tree pulp) and silk. We also use leftover yarn from previous projects to reduce the amount of waste produced.
