Jo-AMI creates cool, comfy and considered designs that are ethically made in small batches in Scotland. Our knitwear and crochet designs have been considered carefully through their sustainable materials, reusing reclaimed, recycled and natural high quality yarns. Also through our long lasting designs developed with heritage influences and ethical and local manufacturing, supporting other highly skilled local businesses. Jo-AMI celebrates Jolene’s personal connection to the Scottish Knitwear industry - in which her great great Uncle’s family owned Donbros Knitwear in Alloa in the 1960’s. Our best selling products range from our stylish and colourful socks to our super comfy and cosy bella beanies.
Hi everyone, I'm Jolene, the founder and creative behind Jo-AMI. I am a qualified knitwear designer that is based in Dundee and loves to produce high quality, ethical and unique knitwear with a connection back to my own heritage within the Scottish knitwear industry. I work on a hand powered knitting machine in my home studio to produce a variety of my products that are made to order and also work alongside independent small batch Scottish manufacturers to produce products such as our Jo-AMI socks, jumpers and accessories.
